Factors 
Safari prices relate directly to the length of your trip and the level of comfort you are seeking; both factors cause safari prices to differ immensely.

A word about International Airfares...
When beginning to plan your safari, many travelers experience sticker shock at the cost of an international air ticket to Africa alone. A bargain fare in the off season from New York to Tanzania is in the neighborhood of $1,200 including taxes. If you wait until the last minute (3 months or less prior to travel date), you will more likely pay around $2,000 for the same ticket.

• The number of people in your group (larger groups will cost less per person, up to a certain level)
• ​Low, high or peak season
• The duration & destination. 
• The standard and type of accommodation e.g. fully serviced camping or five-star lodges
• The type of transportation used. For example; plane ride, safari vehicle or self driving? Special tours?

Safaris prices

Basic camping safari tours range from $175 per person per day to about $250 per person per day. Tanzania safari with lodging have a wider price range, from around $250 – to $500 per person per day, depending on the level of accommodation. Trips with luxury lodges can exceed $1,000 per person per day.

Beach & Islands

Beach holidays depend on what type of accommodation, location and transport. Accommodation has a range from $20 for accommodation with shared toilets, and $500 to $1000 for a 5 star hotel, all-inclusive. Prices are per person per day.
 

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro 

Price range from $ 1,400 - $3,400 per person (ex.tips and equipment hire). On averange our customers use from $150-300 on this. Prices for Kilimanjaro climb is almost only regulated by group size. What route you choose to climb doesn`t make that big difference.

Safari Packages

You can combine these trips and get good package deals. Then the price is regulated as mention above and also according to what you like us to include. We can make a package where everything is included from arrival until departure.

Prices include:
- Accommodation and meals as per the itinerary
- Ground transportation in a 8 seater or 6 seater 4x4 safari vehicle with English speaking Driver guide:-
8 Seater Safari Vehicle has 6 window seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
6 Seater Safari Vehicle has 4 window seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- Game drives and park entry fees
- Services of Leopard Tours staff

Prices do not include:
- Visas (currently US$ 50 per person – non Americans / US$ 100.00 per person American citizens
- Inoculations and personal insurance
- Domestic & International flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions
- Drinks, tips, laundry, mineral water and other personal expenses
- Medical, Travel and Baggage Insurance
- Holiday Surcharge

Please Note:
1. Rooming Policy with Serena Lodges
Serena Hotels will confirm up to a maximum of five singles per group at single room rate as contract rate. Any additional single rooms will be charged at double room contract rate.
2. Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles within East Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24"x 17"x 7" are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised).
3. Baggage on Internal Scheduled Flights:
Baggage allowance is 15 kg per person
Extra luggage will be charged each kilo basis subject to availability of space.
4. Hot Air Balloon ride – package rates includes:
Transport from client’s lodge or camp to launch site, balloon flight (approx. one hour), champagne, full English breakfast in the bust, return road transfer to Seronera and a flight certificate.
No special rate for children.
Children below 7 years are not allowed.
Children 7 between 12 years are carried on request only.

5. There may be some departures operated on a re-routed version depending on the status given, but reflecting same experience and number of game drives.
